Job Summary
National Power is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of generator sets and other electrical equipment.

Main Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and ability to work independently. Key responsibilities include:
  1. Maintenance and repair of generators, including troubleshooting and repair of Automatic Transfer Switches.
  2. Performing preventative maintenance service, troubleshooting AC and DC circuits, and removing and replacing components as necessary.
  3. Assisting other technicians with large multi-person jobs or troubleshooting complicated issues.
Requirements
  • H.S. Diploma required; Associate degree in an electrical/mechanical related field preferred.
  • Current Generac Power Systems certification preferred.
  • US Air Force Electrical Power Production Specialist, US Navy Electrician's Mate, or Generator and/or UPS field service technician preferred.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to account for time spent on jobs and travel.
  • Possess good computer skills and comfortable with Microsoft software.
  • Ability to work from home and maintain company property.
  • Good problem-solving during emergency situations or situations with limited resources.
