Challenging Locum Nurse Practitioner Psychiatry Opportunity

Aya Locums is seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to fill a challenging locum tenens position in Psychiatry. As a dedicated healthcare provider, you will have the opportunity to work with patients from diverse backgrounds and provide high-quality care in a dynamic environment.
About the Role:
- This is a 26-week assignment that offers competitive pay of $90-$110 per hour.
- You will be working a schedule of 5 x 8-hour shifts from 09:00 to 17:00.
- The facility is located in Colorado, and we require an active and unencumbered APRN license in this state.
- National certification as an NP in a relevant specialty area is also necessary.
- With at least one year of experience in a clinical setting relevant to your specialty, you will have the skills and expertise to thrive in this role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treat various medical conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform your treatment decisions.
- Prescribe medications and manage chronic conditions to improve patient outcomes.
- Provide education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices to promote overall well-being.
- Perform procedures as permitted by state regulations and NP specialty guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
- Document patient care accurately and thoroughly to maintain high standards of professionalism.
