KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately takes food and drink orders with courtesy; addresses guests' inquiries regarding menu items.
  • Processes orders efficiently and collaborates with kitchen staff to fulfill requests.
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of state liquor laws; verifies patrons' legal drinking age as necessary.
  • Prepares beverages according to established recipes, using appropriate glassware and garnishes; serves drinks directly or prepares them for service staff.
  • Handles payment transactions, operates the cash register, and reconciles daily sales.
  • Receives payments from customers; provides change and issues receipts as required.
  • Clears and resets tables and bar areas as needed to maintain a clean environment.
  • Prepares bar mixes and garnishes before service begins.
  • Stocks the bar with essential items including glassware, beer, liquor, mixers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
  • Possesses in-depth knowledge of beverage offerings and menu items, including preparation methods, ingredients, and pricing.
  • Ensures cleanliness and sanitation standards are upheld; performs closing duties as assigned.
