Job Summary

CrossReach is seeking a skilled Relief Cook to join our team. As a Relief Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving nutritionally balanced meals and snacks to our service users.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals and snacks to meet the individual needs and requests of our service users.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene and safety in the catering area.
• Implement and uphold CrossReach's aims, objectives, policies, and procedures.
• Manage stock levels, ordering, and budgeting.
• Present meals to the highest possible standard.
• Identify and report any health and hygiene issues related to the kitchen, equipment, and materials.
• Undertake additional duties as required.

Requirements

• Desirable: City and Guilds or equivalent qualification, with a desire for further training.
• Basic computer literacy skills, including Microsoft Office and internet use.
• Previous catering experience is desirable.
