Aureus Medical Group - Nursing is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated travel nurse to join their team as a Telemetry RN in Columbus, Ohio. This 19-week contract offers a unique opportunity for professionals looking to embark on a rewarding journey while advancing their careers.
Job Summary:
- This role requires a Registered Nurse with experience in Telemetry care to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with healthcare teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing services, adhering to established protocols and procedures, and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, performing various tasks such as administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and documenting patient information.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, addressing physical, emotional, and psychological needs.
- Conduct thorough assessments, identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, adhering to regulatory requirements and maintaining confidentiality when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Ohio.
- ACLS certification.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Experience working in Telemetry environments, with a strong understanding of cardiac rhythms and related conditions.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Estimated weekly pay: $2,161-$2,269, based on 36 hours per week at $22-$24 per hour.
- Tax-free stipend: approximately $1,477 per week.
