Tanker Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tanker Driver to join our team at Genesis Energy. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for safely transporting crude oil from the field to pipeline injection points or refineries.

About the Role

• Drive and operate an 18-wheel tractor/cargo tank to transport crude oil in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
• Inspect truck, tires, and tank before each use to ensure safety conditions.
• Record volume and lease site load/unload activity into a hand-held computer for printing run tickets.
• Prepare driver's Daily Report and other paperwork as required.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid class A CDL with Tank and Hazardous Materials endorsements (X).
• Pass a pre-employment DOT medical exam and drug screenings.
• Have a clean driving record with no more than two moving violations in the past three years.
• Be able to read, write, and speak fluent English.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED and two plus years of verifiable tractor/semi-trailer driving experience.

Benefits
