Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our Warehouse Operations team at Veolia North America. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of materials and orders in our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Fulfillment: Receive, store, and ship materials and products in a timely and accurate manner, utilizing electric forklifts and Swing-Reach turret trucks.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate counts and documentation of materials and products, and ensure that all inventory is properly stored and secured.
  • Material Requests: Process and fulfill material requests from other departments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a safe and clean work environment, and perform tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Supervisor or Material Handler Facilitator.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights in a Swing-Reach truck, and stand, bend, twist, and climb stairs and/or ladders.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read and comprehend written and spoken instructions and/or protocols, and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer knowledge and skills, and experience with SAP and TekRF scanners (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: 1 year of material handling and/or warehouse experience, and experience operating a forklift and/or Swing-Reach Turret truck or Transtacker in a manufacturing area.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, and basic mathematical skills.
