Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Backend Developer or in a comparable position.
  • Strong command of the C# programming language and the .NET framework/.NET Core.
  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) is essential.
  • Familiarity with Azure Services such as App Services, Function Apps, and ADF Pipelines.
  • Knowledge of Build/Deployment Automation, particularly with One branch pipelines.
  • Experience in implementing Safe Secrets and Managed Identity in Azure.
  • Proficient in API development, testing, and deployment.
  • Experience with the .NET stack/C# (familiarity with Angular is a plus).
  • Knowledge of Front Door and Traffic Manager implementation.

Key Duties:

  1. Design, develop, and sustain backend services and APIs utilizing C# and the .NET framework/.NET Core.
  2. Implement effective data processing and storage solutions to meet application requirements.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and convert them into technical specifications and solutions.
  4. Enhance backend code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
  5. Implement security protocols to safeguard sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  6. Create and maintain unit tests and engage in code reviews to uphold high-quality code standards.
  7. Diagnose and resolve production issues promptly.
  8. Stay informed on the latest trends and best practices in backend development and data analytics.
  9. Work closely with frontend developers to integrate backend services with user interfaces.
  10. Collaborate with DevOps engineers to automate deployment processes and ensure continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD).
  11. Document technical designs, processes, and procedures to promote knowledge sharing and maintain system documentation.
