Position Overview: This role is based at our River Valley Converting facility.

Compensation: Starting pay is $19.50 per hour.

Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday from 2:45 PM to 10:45 PM and Friday from 9:45 AM to 1:45 PM. The Evening Production Machine Operator is responsible for the operation of the pouch machine, guillotine, or slitter/sheeter/rewinder, ensuring the completion of production orders according to specifications. Key responsibilities include maintaining production schedules, monitoring product quality, keeping accurate records for material tracking and inventory, and managing the loading and unloading of products. This position may also involve assisting with additional tasks as required. Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate machinery in accordance with job specifications.
  • Process recycled materials using balers.
  • Adhere to the production schedule.
  • Prepare production materials for staging.
  • Conduct necessary maintenance on designated machinery.
  • Complete required documentation for shipping processes.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Manage paperwork for completed jobs, shipping, and inventory.
  • Configure labels according to job specifications.
  • Operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely.
  • Handle the loading and unloading of freight.
  • Ensure accuracy in inventory and product location.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to service and quality for visitors and fellow employees.
  • Support other departments with various tasks as needed.
  • Maintain adequate supply inventory levels.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.
