Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will oversee your designated unit or nursing department area, providing guidance to charge nurses, STNAs, and resident assistants. You will be responsible for fostering a positive team environment while fulfilling your supervisory duties. Additionally, you will deliver direct care as needed, manage medication administration, oversee admissions, coordinate transportation, consult with healthcare providers, and act as a liaison for family members.

Qualifications

  • A nursing degree and a valid Ohio RN license are required.
  • A minimum of one year of supervisory experience in a healthcare setting is necessary.
  • At least one year of clinical experience in a hospital, long-term care facility, or related healthcare environment is required.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.
