The Rehabilitation Therapist is responsible for assessing and providing therapeutic interventions to patients as directed by a licensed medical professional, adhering to the regulations set forth by the State of Georgia and the ethical standards established by the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA).

This role includes overseeing and collaborating with Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in delivering patient care. The Rehabilitation Therapist is expected to uphold hospital policies and align with the mission and values of the organization.

Qualifications:

The Rehabilitation Therapist must possess a valid license from the Georgia State Board of Occupational Therapy. Candidates should have graduated from an accredited institution recognized by AOTA or equivalent. Degrees may include Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.

A diverse clinical background through AOTA accredited internship programs is essential for this role.
