The Security Services Department at MIT Lincoln Laboratory is responsible for identifying and countering security threats to our mission of developing game-changing technology in support of national security. As a Senior Security Strategist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing policies, plans, and actions to protect our facilities, personnel, and assets from security threats.

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Security Strategist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of security professionals in the development and implementation of security policies, plans, and actions.
  • Managing complex security projects and risk mitigation efforts.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with Government counterparts and stakeholders.
  • Providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest security trends and technologies.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • At least 2-5 years of supervisory experience in a security-related field.
  • Experience managing complex security projects and risk mitigation efforts.
  • A college degree or equivalent work experience, with an MBA or JD preferred.
  • Regulatory compliance experience, including knowledge of NISPOM 32 CFR Part 117 and other relevant regulations.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
