Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve meals in accordance with established menus, ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including:
    • Utilizing standardized recipes to prepare high-quality food.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of dietary procedures and practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and management skills, including:
    • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
    • Proficiency in reading and understanding English.
    • Organized and neat work habits.
    • Genuine interest in geriatric care.
    • Integrity and tact in dealing with residents and families.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Discretion in handling confidential information.
    • Patience and enthusiasm in working with residents.
  • Preferred qualifications include:
    • High school diploma or GED.
    • At least one year of experience in a similar role.
