Role Overview - Appian Senior Developer

This position requires substantial experience in implementing Appian within a service-oriented architecture to manage dynamic business processes. Proficiency in the complete Appian implementation lifecycle is essential, encompassing business process modeling, tool installation, development, testing, and deployment.

  • Overall IT experience exceeding 7-9 years
  • Minimum of 7-9 years specifically in Appian

Key Competencies:

Hands-on experience with Appian is crucial, along with in-depth knowledge of Process Models, SAIL Interfaces, Web APIs, Sites, Process Model as a Service, Admin Console, Document Management, and Integration Smart Services.

Certification as an Appian Senior Developer on the latest Appian versions is mandatory, while Appian Lead Developer certification is preferred.

Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Deployment models, Test Driven Development, Behavioral Driven Development, and BFSI Domain knowledge is advantageous.

Experience in automating Appian support or BAU activities, Plugin development, and Appian server installations is a plus.

Responsibilities include conducting code reviews and contributing to the Appian Center of Excellence (CoE) by establishing new standards, guidelines, and best practices.

Prior experience in developing SOAP and Restful web services and integration is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and deliver projects utilizing onshore/offshore project teams.
  • Collaborate closely with offshore project teams.
  • Comprehend business functionalities and create induction documentation.
  • Architect and design the entire Appian platform, including technical solutions with Workflow and Rule Engine-based Appian tools.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with strong analytical problem-solving abilities.

*Experience with production support is essential.

The potential compensation for this role is determined by labor costs in local markets, as well as the job-related skills, knowledge, and experience of the candidate. Expected base pay for this role ranges from [$45,000] to [$158,000]. [$45,000] to [$173,000] for California. This position is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits and additional compensation offerings, including a comprehensive range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options, as well as potential incentive or variable compensation.
