We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Plasma Center Technician. As a key member of our plasma collection team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our donors.
Key Responsibilities- Screen new and repeat donors, taking and recording vital signs and finger stick results
- Use our Donor Information System to prepare donor charts and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate donor compensation and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Provide exceptional customer service to our donors, answering phones and greeting visitors
- Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift
- Will work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees
- Ability to lift to 5 lbs., and occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. and rarely 50 lbs.
- Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and ability to hear equipment from a distance
- 1 or more years minimum experience working in a customer or patient-facing role is helpful
