Job Summary

SSM Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Adult 2 East Beh Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and monitor patients' progress.
  • Medication Management: Order and administer medications as prescribed by physicians, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and educate patients on medication use and side effects.
  • Health Education: Provide patients and families with education on healthy behaviors, disease management, and wellness strategies.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, communicate patient information, and resolve conflicts.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Accurately document patient information, including medical history, treatment plans, and progress notes, in accordance with SSM Health's policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or equivalent education.
  • Experience: No experience required, but prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Oklahoma or a compact state.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) and any other certifications required by SSM Health.
