About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Adoration Home Health and Hospice. As a Hospice Aide, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to patients in their homes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as assigned
  • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, as needed
  • Take and record vital signs, such as temperature, pulse, and blood pressure
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks, as assigned
  • Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities
Requirements
  • Meet the training requirements of the State
  • Completed a minimum of 75 hours of classroom and supervised practical training
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in providing personal care
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given
  • Understands hospice philosophy and is comfortable providing specialized care to the terminally ill
