Position Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned insurance professional to fill an immediate vacancy in our team. This role involves the investigation and adjustment of both first-party and third-party automobile claims. This position offers the chance to thrive in a dynamic environment while advancing your career. We are looking for Auto Liability Adjusters to assess claims, determine liability, verify coverage, establish damages, and negotiate settlements.
This role operates in a hybrid format, reporting to the nearest Claims office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather statements from insured individuals, claimants, and witnesses.
- Collect and analyze evidence, reports, and medical documentation.
- Investigate incidents and identify coverage concerns.
- Negotiate settlements with claimants and their legal representatives.
- A Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 2 years of experience in auto insurance is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in handling liability claims.
- Preferred understanding of comprehensive auto coverage for non-standard claims.
- Experience with California auto claims is advantageous.
- Familiarity with claim-related computer systems is necessary; Guidewire experience is a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is an asset.
- This hybrid role will necessitate some reporting to the nearest Claims office.
