Job Title: Central Sterilization Supervisor

At Trinity Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Central Sterilization Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the direct supervision and coordination of unit operations, providing leadership and promoting team building amongst staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate unit operations to ensure efficient and effective sterilization processes
  • Provide leadership and promote team building amongst staff to foster a positive and productive work environment
  • Facilitate communication amongst staff, management, and other customers to ensure seamless operations
  • Implement policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance and quality
  • Perform duties in a clinical capacity as needed to support the team
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification required within 2 years of hire
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of sterilization processes and procedures, with the ability to implement and maintain quality standards
Working Conditions:

The working conditions are noisy, and you must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. (5% of time) a day. Exposure to body fluids and ethylene oxide is a regular part of the job.
