Job Summary

The Customer Service Representative plays a vital role in supporting the Inside Sales Staff and Branch Management Team. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, order entry, and maintenance, as well as reporting and backlog review. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Meet with the Branch Management team to understand the Company vision and key objectives within the first 30 days.
  2. Demonstrate proficiency in preparing and maintaining spreadsheets using MS Excel within the first 30 days.
  3. Learn the Heilind CRM system and resources, including order entry and workflows, within the first 90 days.
  4. Decipher customer backlog and communicate with Sales and Customers to ensure 95%+ on-time delivery within the first 90 days.
  5. Provide one process improvement idea related to the position within the first 6 months.
  6. Develop solid working relationships with internal key support personnel and maintain top levels of professionalism.
Requirements
  • A minimum of an associate degree or 1-2 years of progressively responsible experience in an office or related customer service environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Proficient knowledge of customer service and standard office practices and procedures.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and strong organization skills.
