Overview:

Villa Crest Nursing & Retirement Center is seeking a dedicated Full-time Housekeeper to enhance our environment.

This role requires an individual who can interact respectfully and effectively with residents, families, colleagues, and visitors. The ideal candidate must be capable of standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and handling standard cleaning agents safely.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain cleanliness in patient bathrooms, ensuring sinks, toilets, tubs, and showers are sanitized.
  2. Dispose of waste in patient rooms, bathrooms, activity areas, and throughout the facility.
  3. Thoroughly clean patient rooms, including mopping or buffing floors and dusting surfaces.
  4. Ensure hallways are clean by sweeping debris, mopping, and following company policies for floor maintenance.
  5. Sanitize walls, furniture, and equipment as necessary to create a welcoming atmosphere for patients, staff, and visitors.
  6. Adhere to safety protocols when using cleaning chemicals.
  7. Follow established cleaning schedules and complete additional tasks as assigned.
