Radiation Therapist Job Description

At AdventHealth, we are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a vital role in the care of our patients, working closely with our Radiation Oncologists to deliver safe and effective radiation treatments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform patient simulations and deliver radiation treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
  • Provide ongoing education to patients from simulation through the end of treatment.
  • Prepare and deliver radiation treatments, ensuring accuracy and safety.
  • Collaborate with the Radiation Oncology team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Document patient information and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Active Georgia Radiation Therapist license required.
  • Registered Radiation Therapist (ARRT) certification or registry eligibility.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Completion of a Radiation Therapy Program.
