About Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital

As a Patient Care Associate/CNA, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our registered nurses to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse
  • Assist with basic nursing tasks, such as vital sign checks and medication administration
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients

Requirements:

  • Graduation from a state-approved Nursing Assistant program or completion of at least the first semester of a RN program
  • Current BLS provider card
  • Current hospital-recognized Violence Prevention Training Card (obtain within 6 months)
  • One year acute care hospital Nursing Assistant experience required
