The Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As a RN, you will be expected to possess strong clinical knowledge and skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities- Assess and admit patients, conducting thorough evaluations to identify their needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Round checks and administer medications as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and address any concerns or questions.
- Provide comprehensive care to patients, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and other interventions as needed.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN or MSN preferred)
- Current RN licensure in North Carolina (or eligible for licensure)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ACLS certification within 1 year of hire (for Critical Care/IMCU)
