Position: Logistics Transport Specialist

The Logistics Transport Specialist is tasked with the crucial role of moving finished products and raw materials to and from various operational areas, including warehouses, suppliers, and clients. This role may also encompass diverse daily responsibilities such as loading and unloading, operating forklifts, and providing support to warehouse personnel.

Work Schedule: Flexible hours, with potential for late shifts to accommodate urgent deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely load materials from multiple warehouses using electric and manual pallet jacks, as well as forklifts.
  • Daily transportation of materials between facilities.
  • Assist in documenting inventory on transfer sheets accompanying each load.
  • Conduct daily inspections of vehicles to ensure operational safety.
  • Refuel vehicles as necessary.
  • Deliver and pick up materials from vendors, suppliers, and customers as required.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in warehouse computer systems and processes.
  • Ability to operate a forklift.
  • Strong reading, writing, and comprehension skills in English.
  • Basic computer navigation skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent education.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass a skills assessment exam.
  • Physical capability to meet job demands.
