Job Summary

ECS Limited is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Senior Project Engineer to manage key client projects in our Charlotte office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of geotechnical engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and plans, working closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Perform geotechnical analysis and engineering calculations, providing technical oversight and guidance to junior staff.
  • Supervise field exploration programs, interpret geotechnical data, and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to junior engineers and project managers, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Assist with business development efforts through community involvement and client engagement, promoting ECS Limited's values and culture.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong technical aptitude and knowledge of geotechnical principles.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with experience leading and developing engineering teams.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations, with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
  • Business development experience, with a proven track record of success in client engagement and community involvement.
Education and Certifications
  • BS in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geology, or similar, with a strong academic record.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
