Job Title: Seed Sizing Associate

Job Summary:
QPS Employment Group is seeking a skilled Seed Sizing Associate to join our team at a leading company in Waverly, NE. As a Seed Sizing Associate, you will be responsible for processing seed through different size screens, ensuring the quality and uniformity of coated and noncoated seed products.

Responsibilities:

  • Process seed through different size screens to ensure quality and uniformity.
  • Responsible for carrying out procedures to produce clean, uniform, and appropriately sized coated and noncoated seed products.
  • Transfer coated and noncoated seed products to the Sizing area, perform inspections, and note any abnormalities.
  • Inspect seed products for size and shape uniformity, color, and potential contamination.
  • May require standing, sitting, or squatting depending on the seed product batch size.
  • Transfer seed products using a forklift, dolly truck, or hand carry, depending on the quantity.
  • Ancillary responsibilities include data entry, label making, and creating worksheets for seed number variance.
  • Perform general housekeeping and area upkeep.

Requirements:

  • Transfer seed product batches exceeding 50 lbs. via dolly truck, forklift, or overhead crane.
