Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN Resident Care Nurse to join our team at Bridge at Hickory Woods. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality assisted living services to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the medication program, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of medication assistance records (MARs)
- Provide hands-on medication assistance to residents and monitor medication passes
- Perform treatments according to physician orders and chart relevant information about residents
- Update and inform physicians of changes in resident condition and take physician orders
- Assist residents with activities of daily living and order/reorder medications as needed
- Promptly respond to call lights and other requests from residents and provide report to staff for next shift
- Assist with training, supervision, and counseling of resident care team and assist Resident Care Director with supervisory responsibilities
- Must have a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from an accredited program and maintain an active LPN license in good standing throughout employment
- One (1) year experience in senior services preferred and CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation
- Must have current First Aid certification (if required by State) and possess expert knowledge in the field of practice
- Must be knowledgeable of nursing practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing nursing functions in an assisted living community
