Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute appropriate methods of evaluating students' performance
  • Develop, secure, and maintain the equipment and other instructional materials essential to the presentation of the classroom material
  • Encourage learning by preparing appropriate syllabi and developing lectures, discussions, and other presentations or activities to enhance the students' educational experience
Requirements
  • Posess Surgical Technology certification from the NBSTSA
  • Have a minimum total of two years of experience, either in the medical-surgical area in an operating room scrub role or as an instructor in surgical technology, a combination of both, within the past five years
