Biology Educator

Job Summary:

Monadnock Regional School District is seeking a qualified Biology Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing classroom instruction for all students in specific content areas, planning for instruction, developing curriculum, and providing differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of all students.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare daily lessons and lesson plans, in alignment with established curriculum
Provide instruction in areas of certification
Provide a safe classroom environment that is conducive to student learning
Contribute to the development of District curriculum in areas of certification
Assess students (formative and summative)
Utilize formative and summative data to inform instructional and curricular decisions
Manage classroom behavior
Monitor and communicate student progress with students and families
Communicate student progress and/or concerns with administration
Stay current with content related to areas of certification
Enforce and follow all District policies and procedures
Enforce and follow all applicable state and/or federal laws
Collaborate with other staff and faculty to meet student needs
Provide adequate and appropriate supervision of students
Maintain confidentiality of student information
Engage in professional development opportunities that support areas of certification
Engage in the support and implementation of District initiatives
Establish and maintain records of student assessments
