Responsibilities

  • Provide personalized care to clients, including bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Assist clients with active and passive range of motion, as defined by the plan of care, and document observed changes.
  • Take and record vital signs, including height and weight, as necessary.
  • Develop and maintain a safe environment for quality patient care through adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of a nursing assistant program.
  • Certification as a CNA or experienced HHA.
  • Certified CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray.
  • Minimum one (1) year of documented experience in a care setting.
  • Adherence to HIPAA and maintenance of client confidentiality.
