Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Equipment Operator is responsible for executing basic tasks and managing standard production machinery under close supervision. The primary focus is to maintain a safe working environment, aiming for zero incidents.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, operate, and conduct routine maintenance on production machinery and testing equipment.
  • Utilize various documents such as job travelers, blueprints, and specifications to guide work processes.
  • Troubleshoot machinery issues to ensure optimal performance and implement effective solutions.
  • Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and adhere to scheduled equipment maintenance.
  • Assess and confirm that production outputs meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

Attendance:

Consistent and punctual attendance is essential. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and additional hours may be required.


Qualifications:
Education:

A High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.


Certifications:

Relevant vocational training or apprenticeships in a related field are advantageous.


Experience:

0-2 years of relevant operational experience.


Skills:
  • Proficient in operating production machinery.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Capable of following established procedures for routine tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

This position involves access to information regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All candidates must meet the criteria of a U.S. person as defined by ITAR.
