Snowmaker Job Summary

China Peak Mountain Resort is seeking a skilled Snowmaker to join our team. As a Snowmaker, you will be responsible for producing high-quality snow for our winter resort operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain snowmaking equipment, including guns and machines.
  • Monitor snow production and quality, making adjustments as needed.
  • Move and position equipment as required to ensure optimal snow coverage.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment.
  • Assist with manual labor tasks as directed.
Additional Duties:

Due to the dynamic nature of winter resort operations, you may be asked to perform other duties or assist in efforts outside your primary area of responsibility as needed.

Competencies:
  • Attendance/Punctuality: Consistently arrive on time and attend required staff meetings.
  • Dependability: Follow instructions, respond to management direction, and take responsibility for your actions.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • No prior experience or training is required.
  • Valid California Driver's License.
Physical and Environmental Demands:

This role requires working in a fast-paced winter resort environment with varying temperatures, sometimes wet or sunny conditions, and steep stairways. Proper footwear is essential.
