Job Title: Physical TherapistJob Summary:

FYZICAL Therapy and Balance Centers is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physical Therapist to join our team at our Northport, AL location. As a Physical Therapist with FYZICAL, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and supportive team to provide cutting-edge physical therapy services to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct new-patient evaluations and exams to diagnose patients and evaluate physical activity limitations
  • Create personalized treatment plans that set goals and completion dates
  • Equip patients with physical therapy intervention techniques and exercises, and track progress
  • Provide education to patients on techniques for continued care
  • Examine and evaluate new patients, and establish a diagnosis of condition or conditions and their impact on activity
  • Establish a plan goal and time frame, and prescribe intervention techniques and exercises
  • Measure and track intervention effectiveness, and educate patients on continuing care
Requirements:
  • Accredited Physical Therapy program graduate
  • Up-to-date state Physical Therapy license
  • Able to create and implement outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation-setting treatment plans
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in an autonomous environment
  • Passionate about helping patients with vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall-risk issues
  • 1+ year(s) of outpatient neuro/ortho center or vestibular rehab experience
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program and current Physical Therapy license in AL
  • Must be able to carry out and progress a skilled treatment plan in outpatient balance and vestibular rehabilitation setting
  • Must be self-motivated with a willingness to learn
  • Passion for working with vestibular, balance, neurological, and fall-risk patient population
  • Prefer at least one year working in outpatient neurological or orthopedic center, or previous vestibular rehab experience
