Compensation Range: $87,000 - $120,500

Position Overview: Join DCS Corp as a Flight Test Engineer specializing in the F/A-18 and EA-18G Avionics Mission Systems/Communication Navigation Information (AVMS/CNI) Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and prepare flight cards for aircraft evaluations during the development and verification phases.
  • Conduct and deliver flight briefings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Establish and communicate objectives for flight testing.
  • Design and present operational plans for live fire exercises.
  • Create detailed flight test profiles.
  • For modifications to test flight profiles, generate addendums for the Flight Test Plan and secure necessary approvals.
  • Manage flight test scheduling and report on the actual usage of ordnance during evaluations.
  • Provide expert guidance on risk mitigation strategies related to test resource constraints.
  • Ensure the hazard tracking system is updated in accordance with test outcomes.

Essential Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship is mandatory due to the sensitive nature of customer requirements.
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance throughout employment.
  • Experience with requirements traceability is essential.
  • Proficiency in addressing safety concerns is necessary.
  • Familiarity with aircraft configuration and external configuration is required.
  • Experience with flight test profiles is crucial.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with F/A-18 and EA-18G Avionics Mission Systems, as well as Communication, Navigation, and Information Systems is advantageous.

Training for aspiring Flight Test Engineers will be provided by experienced on-site professionals.
