Job Title: Senior Automation QA Engineer - Kafka Expertise

Job Overview:

We are in search of a highly proficient Automation QA Engineer with a strong focus on Kafka, Cucumber, Selenium, Java, and database testing.

The successful candidate will be instrumental in executing comprehensive automated testing, ensuring high-quality standards for both UI and API components, while utilizing existing automation frameworks to enhance CI/CD pipeline integration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and maintain automated test scripts utilizing Selenium, Java, and Cucumber for UI and API testing, with a special focus on Kafka and database interactions.
2. Lead end-to-end testing initiatives through automation, guaranteeing thorough test coverage and reliability across software application components.
3. Enhance and optimize current automation frameworks, employing Rest Assured for API testing and BDD methodologies using Serenity.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into effective and reliable automated testing solutions.
5. Integrate automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring a seamless and efficient testing process.
6. Maintain a solid understanding of the software application to develop effective testing strategies and scenarios.

Requirements:

1. Demonstrated experience in automation testing with a significant emphasis on Kafka, Cucumber, Selenium, Java, and database testing.
2. Extensive knowledge of existing automation frameworks, with the capability to drive comprehensive automated testing.
3. Expertise in UI and API testing, particularly in implementing BDD with Serenity and Rest Assured for API testing.
4. Strong grasp of Kafka testing and its integration into the automated testing framework.
5. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
