Position SummaryThe Automotive Service Center Supervisor is accountable for overseeing daily business functions and ensuring optimal store performance, including safety, efficiency, and financial accountability. This role emphasizes customer satisfaction, retention, and the expansion of our client base.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all aspects of automotive and general service technicians, ensuring smooth shop operations.
- Recruit, train, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by actively engaging with clients and addressing their needs.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide detailed service recommendations.
- Prepare and discuss pricing estimates with customers while promoting available service specials.
- Lead and inspire the team in alignment with the company's vision and core values.
- Oversee all sales and accounting functions handled by Service Advisors.
- Ensure accurate diagnosis and repair of various vehicle makes and models.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels effectively.
- Ensure the facility is clean, organized, and compliant with environmental regulations.
- Handle payroll and scheduling for employees, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Submit daily sales reports to corporate management.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and services.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in using POS systems and internet applications.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities.
- Ability to adapt to a flexible retail schedule.
- Valid driver's license is required.
