Job Description:As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at IntelyCare, you will be responsible for delivering post-acute care, monitoring residents' physical and mental wellbeing, and performing intakes of residents and documenting their health concerns and medical histories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering post-acute care as an LPN
- Monitoring the physical and mental wellbeing of residents and tracking their vital signs
- Performing intakes of residents and documenting their health concerns and medical histories
- Reviewing the medical records and charts of residents
- Properly administering (and verifying) medications
- Helping to maintain appropriate levels of medical supplies
- Contributing to a safe, comfortable environment for residents
- Assisting with IV set up, vaccinations, and phlebotomies
- Being accountable to follow and adhere to care plans for residents
- Helping medical staff with orientation and training
To be successful as an LPN at IntelyCare, you will need:
- A current Missouri state license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Completion of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) educational program
- A high school diploma (or GED/equivalent)
- At least 6 months of experience as an LPN or in a related role
- The ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
