Registered Nurse Role Summary

Responsible for planning and providing nursing care to residents in alignment with current company policies, as well as federal, state, and local regulations, ensuring the highest standards of quality care and respect are upheld at all times.


Key Responsibilities

  • Exhibits commitment to the organization's mission, values, and ethical standards.
  • Assesses and monitors residents' health status, delivering professional nursing care according to care plans and physician directives.
  • Contributes to the development and assessment of care standards in collaboration with the facility's interdisciplinary team.
  • Initiates emergency interventions as necessary.
  • Facilitates resident admissions, transfers, and discharges, ensuring all documentation complies with regulatory and company standards.
  • Conducts assessments to identify changes in residents' physical or mental health conditions.
  • Ensures comprehensive nursing histories are documented in medical records for all residents.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in providing direct care to multiple patients/residents preferred; experience in a Skilled Nursing environment is advantageous.
  • Nursing degree from an accredited institution or completion of an approved RN program is required.
  • Must hold a current, unrestricted license to practice as an RN in Colorado.
  • Current CPR certification is mandatory.
  • Maintains proficiency in the setup, maintenance, and operation of medical equipment, including monitors and infusion devices.
