The Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN to join our Neurovascular Unit team. As a Registered Nurse in this specialized unit, you will have the opportunity to provide high-quality patient care to individuals who have experienced a neurovascular event, such as stroke. Our interprofessional team works collaboratively to deliver patient-centered and evidence-based stroke care, ensuring that each patient receives the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatments, and education
- Collaborate with the interprofessional team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest stroke care practices and protocols
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire (if practicing within this state)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire
- 1 year Nursing experience
