  • Conduct Assessments and Monitor Progress: Conduct thorough assessments to identify students' needs and monitor their progress, making adjustments to therapy plans as necessary.
  • Provide Direct Occupational Therapy Services: Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Document Services and Progress: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and progress made by students.
  • Participate in IEP Meetings: Actively participate in IEP meetings, providing professional recommendations and insights to support students' educational and therapeutic needs.

Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy: Possess a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid Illinois State License: Hold a valid Illinois state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Previous School Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
