Container Hauler

We are seeking a skilled Container Hauler to join our team at Y. Hata & Co., Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks and equipment to pick up and deliver containers from ports and warehouses on the island of Oahu.

• Pick up and deliver containers to and from various company warehouses/ports
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and equipment
• Communicate and work efficiently with co-workers
• Occasionally help to unload container using pallet jack / forklift
• Dock and maneuver containers in tight areas
• Perform daily inspection of truck and general maintenance, including fueling and cleaning
• Adhere to all Federal and State driver guidelines

• One year of Drayage, Container hauling experience, and familiarity with Pasha, Matson, Young Brothers, local roadways, townships within the area
• One year experience of distribution or warehouse experience, preferably in food service
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A)
• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (PUC Card)
• Clean driver's history
• Ability to obtain TWIC
• Ability to read road signs, building numbers, and maps
