Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute tasks as directed by the land and farm management team.
  • Care for various animals including goats, chickens, and cats.
  • Oversee mowing and landscape maintenance.
  • Perform snow removal duties as necessary.
  • Manage grounds with a focus on both aesthetic appeal and functionality.
  • Maintain large field areas.
  • Conduct daily property inspections to identify and address potential issues.
  • Assist in the upkeep of yard equipment, tools, and outdoor items.
  • Complete daily work requests as assigned by senior management.
  • Coordinate with vendors and team members to ensure efficient operations.
  • Collect debris, trash, and leaves to maintain cleanliness and safety.
  • Support the care of general farm animals and their habitats.
  • Additional groundskeeping duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in English with excellent communication skills.
  • 2-3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of horticulture, grounds maintenance, and landscaping techniques.
  • Familiarity with maintenance methods and materials.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks such as bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with high-level equipment and machinery.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High attention to detail and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Willingness to travel to various local properties as needed.
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including early mornings and late evenings.
