Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Student Transportation

About the Role:

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at PS2G, a technology-driven company providing innovative solutions to state and local government partners. As an LPN, you will work with students in the DC public school system, providing medical care and support to ensure their health and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical assessments of youth according to nursing practice standards
  • Monitor and administer medication(s) and give treatment(s)
  • Respond to and assess emergency health needs of students, if needed
  • Collaborate with OSSE-DOT and Local Education Agency (LEA) staff and parents/guardians to accomplish the medical plan of care and ensure continuity of care for the student
  • Document information about services rendered

Requirements:

  • Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse under DC
  • 1 year of nursing experience
  • Ability to work on call and travel 75% of the time
