We are seeking a skilled Imaging Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be responsible for operating Computed Tomography (CT) scanners and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

About the Role

This position requires a highly motivated individual with excellent technical skills and strong communication abilities. As an Imaging Technologist, you will work closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Operating CT scanners to produce high-quality images
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Communicating effectively with patients, colleagues, and physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatments
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of patient information
  • Participating in ongoing education and training programs to stay up-to-date with industry developments

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 12-24 months experience in radiology
  • A degree from a recognized Radiologic Technology program
  • CPR certification within 3 months of hire
  • ARRT Registry (RT) and IDNS License
  • IV Certification within 3 months of hire

Working Conditions

This role may require rotating shifts, alternate days, and overtime. You must be able to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance and transport patients as needed. The ability to respond to requests to work on short notice and flexible starting times is also essential.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $73,500 per year, based on industry standards and location.
