Position Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented Loan Officer to play a crucial role in our lending operations. This position is essential for building strong relationships with clients, evaluating creditworthiness, and crafting loan options that align with both borrower requirements and the bank's goals. The successful candidate will demonstrate robust analytical capabilities, a comprehensive understanding of credit evaluation, and a commitment to community involvement. The salary range for this position is $50,000-$80,000, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth interviews with clients to understand their business needs and tailor financial solutions accordingly.
• Utilize Moody's Analytics software to prepare, analyze, and present credit proposals, ensuring thoroughness and precision.
• Actively participate in the loan review committee, providing insights to assess credit applications and customer projects.
• Perform comprehensive credit evaluations on loan requests, reviewing financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and collateral.
• Deliver detailed credit summaries and offer well-reasoned recommendations to the Loan Committee.
• Maintain ongoing communication with clients throughout the loan servicing process, ensuring outstanding service and support.
• Conduct site assessments to review collateral, production cycles, and future credit requirements, promoting prudent risk management.
• Develop strong partnerships with local organizations to boost small business lending through strategic collaborations.
• Engage in community initiatives and partnerships to better understand local needs and contribute to community development efforts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience in credit analysis within a banking or financial services environment.
• Proficient in financial analysis tools, with a preference for experience with Moody's Analytics software.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing trust and rapport with clients and stakeholders.
• Strong decision-making skills with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to compliance with regulations.
• Able to excel in a collaborative team setting and contribute to the achievement of organizational objectives.
• Familiarity with agricultural lending practices and knowledge of small business lending and community banking principles is advantageous.
