Responsibilities:

  • Treatment and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to address students' physical impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities.
  • IEP Development and Implementation: Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that meet students' unique needs.
  • Therapeutic Interventions: Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help students develop skills, build confidence, and achieve academic and personal goals.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of treatment plans and IEPs.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and thorough records of student progress, treatment plans, and IEPs, in accordance with state guidelines and company policy.

Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
  • License: Active OT license in the state of Ohio
  • Experience: Minimum 1+ years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a pediatric or school setting
