Responsibilities:

  • Enforce laws and regulations within the correctional facility
  • Provide a safe and secure environment for inmates and staff
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents within the facility
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must have a valid Nebraska driver's license
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to read, write, and understand the English language
  • Must be able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
