The CT Technologist plays a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients. This position requires a strong understanding of computed tomography procedures and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Confirm patient and procedural data for accuracy
- Perform computed tomography procedures, including positioning and immobilizing patients
- Operate CT scanning equipment and make radiation exposures as needed
- Administer radiographic contrast agents and assist with biopsies and drainage procedures
- Maintain knowledge of CT IT systems and participate in on-call rotation
- Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institute (preferred)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (required)
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (preferred)
- Advanced modality registration in CT, ARRT (preferred)
- State licensure (preferred)
- 1 year of experience as a CT or Rad Tech (preferred)
