We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data Science and Machine Learning team at Angi. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and deploying machine learning models that drive business growth and improve user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of machine learning models and algorithms to improve search ranking and consumer-pro matching
  • Implement robust MLOps practices to ensure seamless deployment and scalability of machine learning models
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build scalable and high-impact machine learning systems
  • Foster innovation within the team and explore new approaches and techniques to solve complex business problems
  • Guide junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence

Requirements:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields)
  • 7+ years of experience in data science & machine learning, with a focus on real-time ML models, ideally within the tech industry & marketplace environments
  • Expertise in machine learning and deep learning, with a good working knowledge of large language models
  • Proven track record of deploying highly impactful machine learning models into production environments
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience with cloud ML solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

We offer a competitive salary range of $200,000 - $280,000, commensurate with experience and performance, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plan with company match.
